At the same time, the watch as such has not been able to offer a reliable way to measure the temperature just by contact with the skin on the wrist. However, according to analysts, Apple has already found a way to help itself with a special algorithm that would be able to derive the correct temperature from the available sensor data. Even so, the watch will allegedly not be able to show you the exact temperature, but rather point out if it is unusually high and monitor any fluctuations.
Both the upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 and the speculated completely new durable variant should receive a new sensor. On the contrary, it is quite likely that if Apple releases a new variant of the available SE model, this new sensor will most likely not be included in the equipment.
Bloomberg claims that temperature measurement will be the main and key innovation of the Series 8 model, which should attract the most attention. There’s also talk of a brighter display, a special low-power mode, and new exercise modes as well. Perhaps there will also be a completely new design of the case (see gallery), but the question is whether it is rather just the wishful thinking of the graphic artists who create the renders.
