Apple Reveals ‘Fortnite’ Wants To Build A Game Store In The App Store

Jakarta, Nusantaratv.com – Apple revealed the chief executive of Epic Games, maker of the ‘Fortnite’ game, asked to create a shop gameitself in the App Store. According to Apple, this would upend the iPhone maker ‘s app store business model.

However, Epic did not immediately respond to a request from Reuters to respond to this problem.

Apple removed the popular game ‘Fortnite’ earlier this month after Epic launched its own deep purchase method game which Apple says violates App Store rules. Apple said Sweeney sent email to Phil Schiller, head of Apple’s App Store, at 2 a.m. who said Epic would no longer adhere to payment rules, and launched its own payment system hours later.

Epic has asked the court to issue an order blocking Apple’s removal of ‘Fortnite’ from the App Store. Epic said the move, along with Apple’s threat to terminate developer accounts, would cause irreparable damage to Epic and should be postponed while the case goes to court.

According to Epic, the termination of its developer account could also hinder its ability to offer a product called ‘Unreal Engine’, a software tool for computer graphics used by hundreds. game other and other applications to support their offerings.

In a court filing on Friday (21/8/2020), Apple called the removal of ‘Fortnite’ from the App Store a ‘self-inflicted wound’ and argued that Judge Rogers should not have granted Epic’s request.

Epic knows very well, in circumventing Apple’s proceedings and breaking its contracts, it is putting all of its relationships with Apple, including the ‘Unreal Engine’ and other projects, at serious risk – Apple wrote in its archives.

Epic made a calculated ruling for infringement, and then went to this Court to declare its customers defaced – continues Apple.
