Al-Marsad Newspaper: Citizen, Shenan Al-Essa, revealed details of his attack by baboons inside his home in Al-Makhwah governorate, which injured him and took him to hospital.
Shenan Al-Essa said during his appearance on the Al-Ekhbariya canal that he saw monkeys in his yard before the incident, but he didn’t expect them to attack him in this way.
He added that he went out of the house carrying a sack of bread to feed his sheep, then he was surprised by a group of monkeys, 10 to 15, on the walls of the house and attacked him when they saw the bread.
The elderly citizen concluded his speech: “One of the monkeys injured my left hand, and I was subsequently taken to the hospital, and yet I released him, for God’s sake.”
