Another driver found the car overturned on the roof in the early morning. The accident happened between the villages of Prusinovice and Dřevohostice in the Kroměříž region.
“The driver immediately called the emergency line and all rescue services went to the scene,” said firefighter spokeswoman Lucie Javoříková.
His driver remained trapped in the overturned car. “Using pneumatic bags and hydraulic equipment, firefighters rescued him from the car. However, the young man suffered injuries incompatible with the life he suffered at the scene of the accident,” she added.
Police officers are dealing with the causes of the tragedy. “More detailed circumstances and especially the exact cause of the tragic traffic accident are the subject of further investigation by Kroměříž traffic police officers. The road was completely closed during the investigation and removal of the wreck,” said police spokesman Petr Jaroš.
