The decision provides for the inclusion of the cost of insurance with the costs of the contract stipulated between the company or office and the employer for the first two years from the start date of the contract, and the insurance is then optional for the employer at the time of the employee’s residence renewal.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) participate in the implementation of the insurance decision on contracts for the recruitment of domestic workers, connecting insurance companies to the “Musaned” platform dedicated to the recruitment of workers.
