Un fire was brought under control in the night from Saturday to Sunday in Brussels but around a hundred people had to be evacuated to the Gare du Nord, communicated the mayor of the City of Brussels, Philippe Close (PS).
The bourgmestre said that the fire started on Masui Street. Some evacuated residents have been able to return to their homes, he said.
In a message posted on Twitter around 2:30 am Sunday, the elected representative thanked the Brussels police and the Red Cross for the rapid intervention.
