Real Madrid will be interested in moving forward with a proposal to sign Mohamed Salah, one of the main figures in the Liverpool squad. According to the English newspaper The Sun, the You meringues they are considering presenting a proposal that involves Eden Hazard and an extra amount, in order to convince the English club officials to give up the Egyptian player’s pass.
Salah, who ends his contract with Liverpool in 2023, has not yet reached an agreement with the club to renew the contract, with the latest proposal from the Reds includes a salary of around 400 thousand euros per week. The English point to the striker’s intention to earn a salary of around €30m a season, something that Anfield club officials will not be willing to offer.
If Real Madrid’s proposal is confirmed, the deal could also mean the return of Eden Hazard to English football, after his successful spell at Chelsea. The latest rumors coming out of London point to the interest of Blues in recovering the Belgian, but Real Madrid will be more inclined to use Hazard in Salah’s proposal.
