The extraordinary General Assembly of Benfica was scheduled by Rui Pereira, president of MAG, for the next Saturday, July 3rd, starting at 4 pm, with the possibility of being held at Estádio da Luz. This GA was requested and achieved by ‘Servir o Benfica’, which collected the signatures corresponding to 10 thousand votes, necessary for the validation of the application.
At issue for the request of this General Assembly, considers the movement, is the legitimacy of the last presidential elections, in October 2020, in which Luís Filipe Vieira defeated João Noronha Lopes.
