The Royal Family is already preparing for the Christmas celebrations at the Sandringham Country Estate, which is held annually by Queen Elizabeth II. There is also a special tradition attached to them. All guests are sent by the ruler as soon as they arrive on the scales. Kate and William can’t help it either.
Before the guests of Queen Elizabeth II. they sit down at the Christmas table, they have to follow a special tradition. Anyone who wants to celebrate Christmas at Sandringham Manor will gain weight immediately upon arrival.
As the portal pointed out Page Six, the ruler wants to make sure that all members of the family are “well fed”. Respect is also mandatory for Prince Charles with the Duchess Camilla, William with Kate and other British nobles.
The tradition was introduced by King Edward VII. at the beginning of the 19th century. But the strict Christmas rules do not end there, for example, guests sit down at the table gradually according to age and position.
And as is well known, Elizabeth will tolerate the observance of traditions and everything connected with them. Anyone who resists can forget about dinner under her roof.
The family members will enjoy the turkey, but in short, the queen’s dog pack will not come either. “When I was a chef, I used to prepare a special menu for her dogs. They mostly had rabbit, beef or chicken with rice and cabbage,” said Darren McGrady, who had previously cooked for the royal family.
