Two young people, 24 and 21, were on trial at the end of last week.
They were arrested after a new episode of urban violence that occurred on the night of Wednesday to Thursday in Bron. Police officers had been grazed on avenue Edouard-Herriot while they were working on an investigation into the gunshot wound of a man on September 13.
Out of four individuals identified after the fact, two were arrested. Aged 24 and 21, they were each sentenced to 6 months in prison with a probationary suspension of two years, reports Progress. The two young people will also have to pay 300 euros in damages to the police officers affected by the jets of projectiles.
