bicycle, Alexander Kristoff | Kristoff drove at 313 kilometers per hour on the autobahn

Alexander Kristoff became eager on the accelerator when he drove his new sports car home from Belgium.

After a disappointing spring season, which ended with 33rd place in the GP Scheldeprijs in Belgium, Alexander Kristoff received a pleasant encouragement when he arrived in the Belgian city of Schoten earlier this year.

His agent, Joona Laukka, had in fact taken out a white Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640, which the Norwegian had bought used by a car dealer in Luxembourg.

It appears in the new book “Edvald and Alexander – The battle for the Norwegian bicycle throne”, written by Jarle Fredagsvik.

– I do not get to test it so much at home, but I used it for a trip to the mall the last time I was there. I get to take a trip to Germany when I sign up, says Kristoff in the book.

However, the first trip was made in April when he drove the car home to Norway through Germany. There he also got to test what the car is good for.

Through large parts of the autobahn network in Germany, there is no formal speed limit, although the recommended upper limit is set at 130 kilometers per hour.

On the way home, Kristoff pushed his new toy up to 313 kilometers per hour, it appears in the new book.

He paid around two million kroner for the car.

These cars are no longer produced, but a new model would probably cost just under five million kroner.

Kristoff’s new toy will have a top speed of 340 kilometers per hour and is the most active feature so far at Kristoff’s car park outside the house in Stavanger.

Interest in cars was aroused at a young age. Since then, he has had a dream of securing one of the gorgeous sports cars. With 640 horsepower in the 6.5-liter V12 engine, the cyclist can speed from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.4 seconds.
