Challenge League – The 26th round of the Challenge League goes according to the Leader GC plan. While the Zürcher win against Aarau 4-1, the competition at the top takes points from each other.
While Thun had to chase an early deficit at the bottom of the table, Chiasso, and did not make it past 1-1, Schaffhausen and Winterthur shared the points far more spectacularly at 3: 3. After 13 minutes, the Schaffhausen team had presented 2-0 in their own stadium, the guest from Winterthur turned the game to 3-2 by the hour mark before the home team equalized with a foul penalty in the second minute of stoppage time.
GC held itself harmless against Aarau two days after the arrival of President Sky Sun in Switzerland and moved further away from the competition in the fight for direct promotion. Ten minutes before the break, the relegated was three lengths ahead thanks to a double from Petar Pusic (6th / 35th) and a goal from Allan Arigoni (17th) and never ran the risk of losing any more points. The lead over the table runner-up Thun is therefore seven points.
