Tiger Woods and caddy Joe LaCava face lawsuit from Florida resident who claims that LaCava pushed him when he wanted to be photographed next to the golfer at a tournament in 2018.
The file was filed Tuesday in Pinellas County, Florida. The complainant, Brian Borruso, who claims $ 30,000 in damages, claims that the incident occurred in the 13th hole of the third round of the Valspar Championship, held near Tampa Bay.

When Woods was about to hit the ball, Borruso tried to take a selfie with the star in the background. At that time, according to the complaint, LaCava pushed Borruso and dropped him in the middle of other spectators, causing injuries necessitating his transportation to the hospital. Brian Borruso’s lawyer Josh Dreschel also called the public on Wednesday to identify voices on a video witness to the incident: We are asking all those present at the time to contact us and let us know if they have seen the incident, if they know who the voices are heard in the video and if they themselves have a video or pictures of the incident, said Mr. Dreschel.
