In Florida, among the list of companies that provide essential services and have the right to remain open, we find since Monday the wrestling.
According to information reported by ESPN, the US state has indeed added World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to the list of companies considered necessary during this period of crisis.
Initially, after analysis, WWE had not acquired the status of an essential company, said the mayor of Orange County, Jerry Demings. After some discussions with the governor’s office about the guidelines, she got it.
Three weekly meetings
For WWE, this approval has a major consequence: it can again broadcast combat live on television, even if the events will take place behind closed doors.
Since the closure of non-core businesses in Florida on April 1, WWE had been content to offer registrations. Shot in its Orlando training center at the end of March, the WrestleMania 36 was scheduled for April 4 and 5.
WWE traditionally offers three missions a week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
