After a missile attack by the Russian army on the Ternopil region, 10 people are still in hospitals.

There was no tactical or strategic sense in the missile attack of the Russian Federation on Chertkovo in the Ternopil region. This was announced on Sunday, June 12, by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his circulation.

“After the missile attack on the Ternopil region, 10 people are still in hospitals. There was not a single tactical or strategic sense in this strike, as in the vast majority of other Russian strikes. This is terror, just terror,” he said.

The President recalled that among the victims was a 12-year-old girl from Kharkov, who left for the Ternopil region to escape Russian aggression.

“It is these facts that will now determine the perception of Russia in the world. Not Peter I, not Leo Tolstoy, but children – wounded and killed by Russian strikes,” the president stressed.

He also said that since February 24, Russia has already launched 2,606 cruise missiles in Ukraine.

“Today is already the 109th day of a full-scale war, but far from the 109th day when we tell our partners a simple thing: Ukraine needs modern missile defense systems. Deliveries of such systems were possible this year, and last year, and even earlier. Have we received them? No. Are they needed? Yes.

There have already been 2606 affirmative answers to this question in the form of various Russian cruise missiles that hit Ukrainian cities. In our cities, in our villages for the time of February 24. These are lives that could have been saved, these are tragedies that could have been prevented if Ukraine had been listened to,” the head of state said.

As a result missile attack on Chertkovshchina Ternopil region in the evening no one died, but there are wounded.

Earlier it was reported that in Lisichansk, Luhansk region, as a result of shelling by the Russians on Sunday a six-year-old child died.
