The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed a photo of the work of Polish Krab self-propelled howitzers on the front line.

Polish self-propelled guns Krab successfully work on the front line against the invaders. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, having published the corresponding photos.

Self-propelled artillery systems were transferred to Ukraine as part of Poland’s military aid packages.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are grateful to the Polish people for their effective support and assistance. We feel your reliable shoulder!” Zaluzhny wrote.

The AHS Krab self-propelled howitzer is a modern self-propelled howitzer on a tracked chassis with a turret layout. The maximum rate of fire of the gun is six rounds per minute. Shooting with a series of projectiles is available. The practical rate of fire in combat conditions, under which the crew can work effectively for a long time, is two rounds per minute.

Polish howitzers are capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 40 km. The manufacturer of AHS Krab is the Polish plant Huta Stalowa Wola.

Recall that in early June, the Ministry of Defense reported that Polish self-propelled artillery installations (ACS) Krab ready to resist Russian invaders at the front.

Earlier it was known that Poland sent more than 240 tanks to Ukraine and almost 100 armored vehicles to fight the Russian invasion. Polish President Andrzej Duda spoke about this.
