Residents of central Brussels flew to the rescue of a poor kitten, used as a soccer ball by young people from the neighborhood.
It is a real abomination that occurred this Sunday in the center of Brussels at rue des Pierres. Close to the central police station, young people from the neighborhood had fun playing football with a kitten as a ball. Alerted by the poor animal’s cries and cries, residents rescued the kitten. Residents would have arrived just in time according to the manager of the Woluwe-Saint-Lambert cat shelter CatRescue.
The kitten, Abby, a 10-month-old female, weighs less than a kilo and suffers from coryza, a disease known as “cat flu”. He was taken in by the shelter and is said to be doing well now.
