COLLECTION. The Drummondville Voltigeurs blood drive, under the honorary presidency of team captain Xavier Simoneau, will be held on Thursday January 21 and Friday January 22, 2021, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. It will take place at the central courtyard of Promenades Drummondville located at 755, boulevard René-Lévesque and the objective of this event is to welcome 300 donors.
Despite the pandemic and the winter, Héma-Québec invites blood donors to remain mobilized for those who need their generosity to recover their health.
Every day, 1,000 blood donations are needed to ensure an optimal level of reserves, even in times of pandemic.
Héma-Québec is doing everything it can to continue to make donation a safe experience. Numerous measures on all collection sites, in particular controls on access to collection sites with temperature measurement of donors and volunteers, additional disinfection measures and a revised logistical organization of collections in order to comply with the measures of distancing.

Who can donate blood?
Anyone in good health, 18 years of age or older, can usually donate blood. Before going to a blood drive, you can check your eligibility with the donor client service at 1 800 847-2525, or consult the Héma-Québec website at www.hema-quebec.qc. ca, section Donors> Blood> Can I donate?
