Weah graduated from the fields of Rosedale Soccer Club to the highest stage for soccer in the world, scoring the goal against Wales. Weah remains forthright despite his stardom ahead of his side’s decider against Iran on Tuesday, hoping his persistence will see them win.
The last time the US team faced Iran was at the 1998 World Cup in a game Iran won.
