Red bulletin for 5 cities today
Today the effects of an anticyclonic matrix promontory are still prevalent sub-tropical in extension towards our Peninsula for several days already, but which is disturbed on the northern edge by the presence of a cold drop of origin atlantica on which we will deepen later. In the center-south, on the other hand, the good weather prevails, often accompanied by almost sunny skies or at least cloudy skies, with greater densities along the Apennine ridge. Intense heat, such as to induce the Ministry of Health to mark 5 Italian cities red because of the heat.
Cold drop near Brittany also brings disturbances to northern Italy
A cold drop of Atlantic origin is momentarily positioned in the Ocean, off the coast of the Britain, northwestern region of France. However major ailments are brought up in Italy where the anticyclonic bell does not prevent the cooler and wetter currents arriving from the north-western quadrants from flowing into the Mediterraneo central causing the development of sometimes violent storms. Although this is purely thermoconvective instability, some disturbed fronts have not failed to affect various northern areas even at night, even bringing various damages and inconveniences.
Extreme weather phenomena around the world
Although our country is commenting on a weather situation that is still calm, with some storm disturbances on the northern regions and in some areas of the center (on which we have deepened in a special editorial) extreme meteorological phenomena continue to rage around the world, deserving of a particular study. We have often done so in the past for events that have concerned our continent or the Asian one, but in the present editorial we go overseas for a super hailstorm that took place in State of Dakota, as we will see in the next paragraph.
