The Belarus Football Championship remains the only tournament in Europe that has not been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Because of this, the Belarusian championship is watched all over the world – over the past month, 11 countries bought the rights to broadcast it. Belarusian clubs received millions of new fans – they just can’t get to matches of their favorite teams because of closed borders. But in the Brest Dynamo, it seems, they found a way out.
Before the match of the semifinal of the Belarus Cup with the Soligorsk Shakhtar, the club launched virtual tickets for sale. The club promised each customer to deliver a paper ticket and a pre-match magazine to anywhere in the world, as well as send photos and videos of the match to their email. In the announcement, Dynamo guaranteed a virtual presence at the stadium to the fans, but did not disclose how this would happen.

Everything became clear just before the start of the match: the Dynamo stadium employees planted mannequins in the stands, and photos of virtual ticket buyers were glued on them. Mannequins dressed in t-shirts of the leading clubs in the world.
With the support of 30 virtual fans and 813 real spectators, Dynamo won 2-0. The club has already announced that it will sell virtual tickets for the next match, and part of the funds will be directed to the fight against coronavirus in Belarus.
