Violent clashes at pro-Trump marches in NYC

This Sunday, Manhattan was the scene of a series of violent demonstrations in the city.

A march in favor of President Trump spread through various parts of the city and some of its participants were caught on video fighting with Black Lives Matter protesters in Times Square.

As the levels of violence increased, the police detained several of those present.

It is unclear how many people were arrested.

This was part of a massive rally by Trump supporters led by members of the Orthodox Jewish community, who also protested at various points in Brooklyn.

Supporters of the president headed to the Washington Cemetery in a motorcade.

Many of them also expressed their support for the police and against restrictions to contain the coronavirus.

And the Police Department shared more images of the conflict.

In the video, protesters can be seen throwing eggs at the caravan of Trump supporters.

The images were shared by the police chief of detectives on his Twitter account.

Here you can see people throwing objects from the Brooklyn Heights promenade at the vehicles going through the BQE.

The chief of detectives says the incident is under investigation.
