In the Czech Republic, the number of infected people jumped for the third day in a row. On Sunday, the increase was the largest so far, with hygienists revealing 305 new cases. According to experts, this is mainly due to the local outbreak in the Karviná region, where extensive testing has been underway in recent days.
The relaxation of the measure, which is planned for the rest of the Czech Republic on 1 July, will therefore not affect parts of the Moravian-Silesian Region. In the Karviná and Frýdek-Místek regions, on the other hand, some regulations will be tightened. From Tuesday, visits to hospitals and social facilities will be prohibited, and participation in mass events will be limited.
Throughout the Moravian-Silesian Region, it will be mandatory to wear veils and cross-border workers will have to submit a negative test for Covid-19.
