Union Berlin dismantles Jahn Regensburg

The corona crisis has paralyzed German football, professionals and amateurs are taking a break – but fans do not have to completely do without their favorite sport. To bridge the gap, the Bundesliga organized the “Bundesliga Home Challenge” – a virtual tournament with league players and eSportsmen. The game is played in the simulation “FIFA 20” on Playstation 4. The individual teams consist of two members: a professional and an eSportler. Each game lasts 25 minutes, played in two separate games.

And: The tournament is very busy. Borussia Dortmund is represented by the team consisting of defender Achraf Hakimi and gamer Erné Embeli, FC Schalke 04 will compete with Nassim Boujellab and Tim “Tim_Latka” Schwartmann. RB Leipzig, Hertha BSC, Werder Bremen, Bayer Leverkusen and HSV are among the 26 teams from the 1st and 2nd leagues.
