Two people lost their lives during a spectacular car accident in Manhattan.
It happened shortly after midnight, on the Harlem River Drive, at the height of East 131st Street, in the East Harlem sector.

According to the police officer, a black Honda Civic crashed into the dividing wall of the highway after losing control, near exit 17.
Two subjects who were in the vehicle were trapped and although they managed to be rescued, they died shortly after.
The crash caused the temporary closure of southbound lanes of the highway at 129th Street.
