- Blends in taller varieties of cacti, such as pipe organ cactus, blue wax, or cow tongue cactus.

The advantage of a cactus garden in a pot is that you can plant it indoors.

Cactus care
Cactus plant care is relatively simple but does not mean it is maintenance free. Most cacti and other succulents require similar general care, although there are exceptions to some of the rules.

Both indoors and outdoors, a cactus garden needs plenty of sun. For that, dry the cactus in direct sunlight every day for at least 6 hours.
For watering, cacti do not need a lot of water. This drought-resistant plant is prone to root rot, so allow the soil to dry out between drinks.
If a cactus garden is outdoors, nature will fulfill its watering needs in the form of rain most of the year, but if not, you should water the plants thoroughly at least once a week during the summer.
Cacti and other succulents do not need large amounts of fertilizer, just give a little fertilizer for your cactus plants, so they can grow beautiful and fertile.

Most cacti are slow growing and don’t mind getting attached to roots. If you see roots pushing out of the pot, or if the plant is growing out of proportion to the size of the container, it’s time to transfer it to a new container.

Plant cacti in specially formulated cactus potting soil, either purchased or made yourself.
Good drainage is essential for cactus care, and regular potting soil tends to hold too much moisture for plants that like this dry soil surface. In the market, there are those that sell special soil for cactus plants.
However, a good formula for cactus soil is one-third horticultural sand, one-third cactus compost (you can use regular potting mix for this but throw away any logs or large twigs), and one-third of sand in the form of pumice, perlite, or porous gravel.
