Received this evening in the company of several other actors from the film Dune 2, the young actor triggered loud cheers from his fans in the audience

In the middle of a promotional tour in Paris for the release of Dune 2, in theaters on February 28, 2024, the film crew made an appearance on the show “Quotidien”. The least we can say is that the public gave a very warm welcome to Timothée Chalamet, one of the main actors in Denis Villeneuve’s film.

“I am very lucky”

Upon his arrival, Timothée Chalamet showed his gratitude to Denis Villeneuve for the Dune adventure he offered him. “I’m very lucky,” he said, looking into his eyes, before calling him a “genius.” It’s not just the director that Timothée Chalamet is making eyes at, he says, while trying not to say too much about the second part of the film, that the love story between his character and that of Zendaya was going develop, far from the clichés of adolescent love.

“Let’s go Green !”

Yann Barthès distributed green and white scarves to the entire team before launching the anthem of the AS Saint-Étienne team, the actor’s favorite club. “Who are obviously the best, it’s the greens!”, he intoned in front of a participatory audience who clapped their hands in chorus. “Let’s go Green !” he exclaimed, followed by screams from the audience.

A “dune special”

The special broadcast on Quotidien welcomed other members of the Dune film team: director Denis Villeneuve, Josh Brolin, Austin Buttler, Stellan Skarsgård, Swiss Souheila Yacoub and French Léa Seydoux. Dune Part 2 will be in theaters on February 28 in France.
