Latin music lost one of its most beloved voices this Sunday. Mexican Vicente Fernández died at the age of 81 after a fall in August caused enough damage to make him immobile.
The Aztec’s health faded and with him the sensation that a reference of the Mexican ranchera was about to leave.
Despite his death, the world of music remembered this Sunday the Charro de Huentintán as an idol, an irreplaceable voice and a man whose legacy transcends beyond his native Mexico.
Celebrities of the stature of Ricky Martin, Gloria Estefan and Ricardo Montaner expressed their pain on social networks while offering their support to Vicente Fernández’s family.
