President Klaus Iohannis submits retirement file as physics teacher: What pension will he receive?

Sibiu county schools inspectors have confirmed that after 27 years, when it was not put up for competition, the position of physics teacher at Brukenthal College in Sibiu is vacant.

In June, President Klaus Iohannis will be 65, and may retire from education.

After spending 10 years in Cotroceni, and another 14 as the mayor of Sibiu, Klaus Iohannis is going to receive a substantial pension – about 9,000 lei, according to the director of the Alma Mater National Trade Union Federation, Anton Hadăr.

“He has 42 years of work and 10 years in leadership. From there he has the highest index in the grid, 12 average wages. In my opinion, from there they collect about 4 pension points per year. That is, he collects 40 points from the salary he received from the presidency. His years are still teaching and leading Sibiu County Inspectors, where the salary was not very high, I think he will get about 22 points.

If we collect 40 points from the president, with 22 points from the high school, with 25 points from the City Hall, I think the president will get about 103 points, a pension of about 8,400, or even 9,000 lei”, said Anton Hadăr. at Antenna 3 CNN.
