This is a list of weapons belonging to Hamas and Israel against each other

GAZA – Indirect war between Hamas militias in the Gaza Strip, Palestine , with the military Israel has involved the use of a variety of weapons ranging from rockets, ATGM (anti-tank guided missiles), kamikaze drones, Iron Dome air defense systems to and F-35 stealth fighter jets.

According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the series of attacks hit homes and schools, killing six Israelis including a military soldier and one Indian. Hundreds of other people were injured.

Israel responded with air strikes on Gaza. The Palestinian Health Authority said 109 residents were killed, including 28 children. More than 580 other people were injured.

Data comparison shows that militarily, Israel is much stronger and even the strongest in the Middle East region. However, in this time of conflict, Hamas weapons managed to break through the Iron Dome missile defense system which shocked the officials of the Jewish state.

Hamas weapons

1. Rocket A-120
This weapon is produced locally, albeit with foreign assistance. Its maximum range is between 12 km and 120 km. According to military experts, most of these rockets are loaded into locally made launchers with 8 tubes each.

2.S-40 rocket
This weapon has a firing range of 40 km, it is also launched via an 8 tube launcher. These rockets are stored in underground silos, sunk in the sand to hide them from Israeli surveillance planes. They are removed from the silo, inserted into the launch tube, and fired.

3. MLRS
The multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) is installed on Toyota pick-up trucks and low-cost individual launch rails. In general, the launcher looks much “cluttered” than what is shown in propaganda photos and videos. It is not clear what type of MLRS Hamas is using in this conflict.

4. Rocket BM-21 Grad
Hamas also uses a variety of Soviet-era BM-21 Grad rockets, which are popular on the international market. This group also uses Chinese rockets.

5. ATGM
Apart from rockets, Hamas has used Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGM) against the Israeli military. This weapon also targets Israeli civilian vehicles.

According to information from independent sources, which are quoted EurAsian Times, Friday (14/5/2021), Hamas operates various Russian-made ATGMs such as Konkurs, Kornet, Malyutka (Sagger), North Korea’s Bulsae-2 and MILAN Europe. However, the source’s claim could not be verified.
