They rescue a skunk trapped in the flowers of a Deli store in Manhattan – Telemundo New York (47)

NEW YORKNew York City police officers rescued a skunk that was doing his thing inside a Deli in Manhattan.

In a video shared on Twitter by user JoeDuncanNYCSGP, it is seen how officers try to find the animal outside the Morgans Market store, located at 13 Hudson Street, and in the middle of the flowers they were selling.

The incident occurred on Sunday morning, at around 9:50 am, when the uniformed officers successfully managed to catch the skunk and quickly put it in a dog cage and then be taken to the Animal Care Centers in New York.

After the rescue, the people present applauded the officers.

In the event, no one was sprayed with the chemicals that the skunk secretes, and that perhaps makes it look like the stinkiest animal in the world because of the odors it can release.

It is unknown how the animal got to the store.
