They rescue 14 doctors kidnapped in hotels in Tacubaya

MEXICO CITY.

Agents of the Attorney General of Justice of Mexico City (FGJCDMX) rescued this Tuesday, safe and sound, to 14 doctors who were deprived of liberty in two hotels located in the vicinity of Tacubaya, in the city hall Miguel Hidalgo.

According to reports from the FGJCDMX, the discovery was made through the complaint of relatives of one of the victims who was originally from the state of Chiapas and who was deprived of liberty.

The investigations led the ministerial police to inspect two hotels in the Tacubaya neighborhood, where they found the doctors, who argued that they were deprived of liberty.

According to the first investigations, relatives of the victims were extorted by telephone from people who informed them that their relatives were being held and that, if they did not deposit a certain amount of money, they would harm them.

The victims were transferred to the Investigation Office of the Kidnapping Crime, where they have been provided with medical attention and legal advice.
