The Office of the Attorney General of the Republic captured two members of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel, allegedly involved in the killings of federal judge Uriel Villegas Ortiz and his wife, Verónica Barajas, as well as in the crime of local Morena deputy Francis Anel Bueno Sánchez.
Federal government officials indicated that the detainees are Jaime Tafolla Ortega, The Scorpion, and David Ulises Lara Ramírez, the latter currently under root.
