A Honduran accused of kill his wife and hide it in a freezer, was captured this Saturday in the El Sitiio de Comayagüela neighborhood.
The crime occurred on May 13, 2018 when after the couple was celebrating Mother’s Day at Parque Obrero with their relatives, they subsequently went to their house. They allegedly initiated an argument, where the suspect hit Ana Dalubia Zelaya Reyes, suffocated her, put her body in a plastic bag and hid the body in a freezer.
After hiding the body in the refrigerator that was in a courtyard at the back of the building, he fled with his son under three years old that he had with Ana Zelaya.
The woman had around her head and neck a black plastic bag with which the murderer would have suffocated her until she died.
According to the investigations, the murderer himself would have told the woman’s relatives via telephone about what he had done with her. The relatives, alarmed by the confession that the criminal had made to them, alerted the police to go to verify the place.
