Pride
Richard Voets, who sells oliebollen in Tilburg, has been declared the winner for the second time. He is happy with the good assessment, because he has worked hard for it. Queeny also tastes her oliebollen regularly: “I eat at least three every day.” Queeny not only wants to deliver the tastiest oliebollen, but also makes sure that the booth looks nice and that it is fun: “There is always time for a chat and everyone in the booth has to laugh.”
There is plenty of cheerfulness in the oliebollen stall. Whoever has to be at the Praxis in these days, is treated to the cheerful singing of a singing oliebollen baker, Kevin. He works for Queeny and, like her, is convinced that the oliebollen will be tastier if they are baked with love and pleasure. He even sings the oliebollen.
