Unexpected news from the world of the series “The witcher“. The script writer for the animated film The Witcher Nightmare of the Wolf Bo DeMaio said that the project will become the canon for the second and subsequent seasons of the series. In essence, this means that the source of any questions will be considered not Sapkovsky’s books and not even a video game, but a cartoon.
In an interview with the publication Comicbook Demaio emphasized that, according to his information, it was the anime project that would become the canon for the Netflix series. The screenwriter also talked with the show runner of the series The Witcher Lauren Hissrich and came to the conclusion that in the cartoon it would be possible to show such scenes as there was no place in the original project.
Very little is known about the plot of The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, but, apparently, the audience will be told the story of the witcher Wesemir before he became a mentor to Geralt of Rivia.
