The vaccination center at the health center

The Collet-de-Dèze health center becomes a vaccination point approved by the Regional Health Agency (ARS). Municipal staff are involved in the delivery of AstraZeneka vaccines. Indeed, it is the agent Christophe Bruguière who went to collect the precious bottles in Mende, to deliver them to the village pharmacy.

Monday, March 1, supervised by Dr. Didier Benkemoun, the four nurses from the nursing office immediately started the vaccination, the doctor also doing the injections.

For now, the pace is forty-two doses of Pfizer vaccine and twenty doses of AstraZeneka, but Dr. Benkemoun specifies that the number of people vaccinated will increase very significantly from next week. For the moment, vaccination is reserved for people over the age of 75 and over 65 with co-morbidities.

The municipality will quickly be very involved in contacting the people concerned, in collaboration with Dr Benkemoun. At Le Collet, everyone is mobilized.

The Maison de santé also informs that it is now possible to be vaccinated in Le Collet. This concerns all people 65 years of age and over and all those over 50 years of age with co-morbidities (diabetes, heart failure, COPD and chronic diseases). You must also be a resident, permanent or not, of one of the following eight municipalities: Le Collet-de-Dèze, Saint-Julien-des-Points, Saint-Martin-de-Boubaux, Saint-Michel-de-Dèze, Saint-André-de-Lancize, Saint-Hilaire-de-Lavit, Saint-Privat-de-Vallongue and Ventalon-en-Cévennes.
