With the announcement that Electro will be featured in Spider-Man 3 (2021) there are also rumors that this movie will show the Sinister Six. However, it seems more like we will get a Spider-Verse movie and only then will it really be used on the Sinister Six-film.
The original six Sinister Six members seem all but found, with Doctor Octopus, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, Sandman and Vulture. At first glance, many of those roles seem unfilled, but there is a good chance that the plans have already been completed.
The Sinister Six: Which Actors?
Should Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures stick to those original six characters, three of the six actors are already known, with Vulture (Michael Keaton), Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) in Electro (Jamie Foxx). The other three actors may already be there.
For example, the well-received performance of Doctor Octopus could be played again Alfred Molina from Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Sandman we saw through actor Thomas Haden Church al in Spider-Man 3 (2007). Recently placed John Cena a photo of Sandman on his Insta and that character may be recast.
Number 6: Kraven the Hunter?
The sixth and final character is Kraven the Hunter and this is just the character who should get their own movie quickly. This one could just appear in 2022, with a Sinister Sixfilm in 2023. Of course this is a lot of speculation, but it is all possible through the Spider-Verse. What do you think?
