The films Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Eternals will also have their premiere postponed deep into 2021. Cinemas are thus plagued by one disaster after another, and this year’s sales are expected to fall sharply. Black Widow was scheduled to premiere on November 6, but many cinemas in the United States remain closed. Although cinemas work in the Czech Republic, attendance is not the best. After Christopher Nolan’s Tenet failed commercially, fears grew. Black Widow is currently set to premiere on May 7, 2021.

Steven Spielberg has been preparing a new version of the legendary musical West Side Story for years and will probably be “Oscar material”. However, he will not make this year’s awards, because after the changes he will not enter theaters until December 2021.
