At 25, Valentine Sled confides more and more. In the Gala columns, Sophie Davant’s daughter explained how she handled her mother’s fame when she was younger when some classmates laughed at her.
How easy is it to be a celebrity child? If many people are wondering, Valentine Next, the daughter of the famous host Sophie Davant, agreed to answer them in the columns of Gala ! If the young girl has never wanted for anything, having a mother who is on television has given her some hassle. “At school, I was bothered a bit, but it never got very far. I’ve heard thoughts like, ‘She thinks she’s a celebrity girl,’ gratuitous nastiness, but I’ve never been in big trouble. Suddenly, I was withdrawing“, she revealed. During this interview, Sophie Davant added:”It’s difficult because they’ve been hostage to our media exposure in spite of us, but we’ve always made sure that they experience it as best as possible. Our jobs exposed them, it’s true, but they were also able to have access to lots of things that opened them up and allowed them to create their personality.“
In November 2020, it was against Nikos Aliagas in 50 ‘Inside that Sophie Davant had already mentioned the childhood of her children. She then confided: “It was very complicated because like all the children of famous people they suffered from it at school. The friends are not necessarily nice to them and I think I have protected them by leading a normal life.“Far from the cameras, the star ofDeal concluded likes to relax in Normandy with the family. “I seek simplicity, as soon as I am not on the air, I often go into nature, in places not at all exposed and my children have this taste there too“, she had confided.
How does Valentine Sled relate to her mother?
If Valentine Sled suffered a little from her mother’s fame, she nevertheless experienced her parents’ divorce rather well. For Gala, she explained: “I was 15 years old. We didn’t see a lot of arguments, they decided to go their separate ways before tearing up, which saved us. We didn’t really suffer because the four of us continued to see each other, even though our father no longer lived with us.“While the young woman is today in the light, she can count on the support of her mother.”She has a benevolent opinion, always in my best interest“, she revealed.
