America’s business leaders have finally accepted that remote work is here to stay.
But a new study from the New York Federal Reserve finds that working from home has more negative effects on businesses than positive ones.
Most of the companies surveyed said that remote work has hurt the culture in the workplace, lack of unity among workers, lack of training and mentoring of employees, little communication to and between employees and low productivity among them.
The advantages of maintaining remote work have also been highlighted.
