According to the investigation, the 46-year-old native of Tunisia, with the aim of committing an attack on a teacher, professor of the department of Zaporozhye National University, who at the same time headed the Center for the provision of educational services to foreign citizens, and the seizure of his property, created an organized criminal group, which involved three local residents.

“When the teacher left his workplace and sat down to the car of the accused, he was robbed and killed. The body of the deceased and other traces of a criminal offense were later hidden in a forest belt near Zaporozhye,” the report said.

It is noted that the group members acted according to a pre-developed plan. First, the victim received a phone call from one of the gang members, who was a police officer at the time, with a request to help law enforcement officers and act as an interpreter from Arabic in legal proceedings.
