THE BALL – Dragons received at a party by the fans (FC Porto)

The FC Porto entourage returned to Invicta on a chartered flight and the party began right away at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, where players and coaches were welcomed in ecstasy, proudly displaying the Portuguese Cup. Then they went to Estádio do Dragão, to meet again with a few thousand dragons who had gathered in Alameda.

In the Aliados there were also celebrations, although without the dimension of those that took place when FC Porto was champion in Luz and paraded in front of the City Hall, a week later. The two trophies that signal the ninth Porto double will be deposited at the club’s museum, in a ceremony scheduled for this Monday.
