Test matches of the Bundesliga clubs: The first highlights are certain – Bavaria meets Marseille, SGE receives Kovac-Klub

The omens for the clubs from the Bundesliga could hardly be more different this year. Some clubs are still in competitive mode due to the postponement of the games in the Europa League and Champions League and will soon be playing again in important games against top international opponents. The remaining teams still have a long time until the new league starts on September 18. But of course they also want to prepare for the new season.

It is therefore important for the two clubs, FC Bayern (August 8, second leg second leg against Chelsea) and RB Leipzig (August 13, quarter-final against Atlético Madrid), to get in shape. Bayern have therefore agreed a test with the French top team Olympique Marseille for next Friday. The kick-off at the FC Bayern Campus is at 4 p.m. No spectators can be present at the game, but it will be at Magenta Sport transfer. RB Leipzig, on the other hand, is testing against a Bundesliga competitor. Coach Julian Nagelsmann’s team will meet VfL Wolfsburg in Leipzig on Thursday (kick-off at 4 p.m.).

Borussia Mönchengladbach welcomes MSV Duisburg on August 15th (2 p.m.) and a week later in Harsewinkel-Marienfeld to SC Paderborn (3 p.m.).

VfB Stuttgart also has an attractive opponent in front of their chest as part of their preparation for the new season. VfB will compete at Olympique Marseille on August 14th (5pm). As part of their preparations, Werder Bremen will receive second division Hannover 96 on September 5 (3:30 p.m.). In addition, Werder will meet the Dutch first division club FC Groningen in Lohnde (August 29, 5 p.m.) It could come for some Bundesliga experienced Werder players to see ex-Bayern star Arjen Robben again. The Dutchman returned to the professional football stage out of love for his home club. In the summer of 2019, he had actually declared his career over.
