The California carmaker changes the prices of its electric cars quite often, but this year it is particularly active.

Regular visitors to Tesla’s website, specifically the website intended for the American market, have probably already noticed that the prices of the electric cars on offer change quite often. Especially with the popular Model 3 and Model Y.
As colleagues from the Electrek website point out, in February the carmaker changed the prices of both models several times, most of which went down with the price. And the same continued at the beginning of April, but at the end of the month Tesla became more expensive for the Model Y. During April and the beginning of May, there were further increases in the price of both electric cars.

In recent months, the carmaker has focused mainly on the prices of the Model Y, or its popular motorization Long Range Dual Motor. The final price of the car now ranges from $ 54,000 (approximately CZK 1,176,000), which is $ 4,000 (approximately CZK 87,000) more than a few months ago. The Performance model holds a price of $ 61,000 (approximately CZK 1,329,000).
Tesla Model 3 abroad still starts at $ 39,990 (approx. CZK 871,000), but the popular Long Range AWD costs from $ 49,990 (approx. CZK 1,088,000), which means an increase of $ 3,500 (approx. CZK 76,000) compared to the first months of this year. The Performance version then comes to $ 56,990 (approximately $ 1,241,000).

In the Czech Republic, the standard Model 3 Standard Range Plus starts at CZK 1,324,900, and the Long Range AWD version starts at CZK 1,486,990. In the case of both of these versions, however, customers will have to wait at least until November. However, in the Performance version, starting from CZK 1,700,200, they should be delivered as early as August.
The Y Long Range model then starts at CZK 1,724,490, while the estimated delivery is only in September. However, customers in the Czech Republic will have to wait until the beginning of next year for the Performance model, which starts at CZK 1,874,490.
