“Tell the Tsar that Gritsak is a normal person. We don’t give sixes.” New “records of Medvedchuk – Surkov” published

On the recording, published by Obozrevatel, voices similar to the voices of the People’s Deputy from the Opposition Platform – For Life Viktor Medvedchuk and ex-aide to the Russian President Vladislav Surkov are discussing the ties between the Deputy Head of the SBU Vasily Gritsak and the DPR’s “Defense Minister” of terrorists Vladimir Kononov and corruption schemes in the occupied territories.

A new audio recording of conversations, the voices of which are similar to the voices of the head of the political council of the Opposition Platform – For Life, Viktor Medvedchuk, and ex-presidential aide Vladislav Surkov, was published “Reviewer”.

The publication reports that it received audio from reliable sources.

In them, the parties discuss an attempt by the deputy head of the SBU Vasily Gritsak to contact the “Defense Minister” of the DPR terrorists, Vladimir Kononov, nicknamed Tsar, corruption schemes in the occupied territories (“cash delivery to Debaltseve”), as well as the creation of a certain council of cities.

Judging by the recording, Surkov presumably voiced his vision of the agreements on the special status of Donbass to Medvedchuk. His interlocutor, proceeding from the dialogue, expresses his readiness to offer versions of the documents that are beneficial to Russia.

There are three episodes in the file.

Conversation 1.

Presumably Surkov: Hello.

Presumably Medvedchuk: Yes, yes.

S: Vit, well, the Tsar will be there.

M: Huh?

S: Kononov, there will be a Tsar.

M: Kononov, yes?

S: Yes, his call sign is Tsar.

M: All coordinates will be transmitted to Taras (according to the “Observer” version, this refers to the people’s deputy from the OPZH Taras Kozak. – “GORDON”).

S: Taras will be given now, right?

M: Yes, because they first named the Lady there. The lady is good, but not enough.

S: And Kononov – is he the “Minister of Defense”?

M: Yes. He will do it himself.

S: Yes, come on. Bye, thanks.

Conversation 2.

M: There is a request, Slav. There Sergei Sergeevich contacted the Tsar, right? He is not Sergei Sergeevich, he is generally … This is Gritsak – the first deputy chairman of the SBU. And he began to him: “Do you know who you are talking to?” He says: “Let’s meet on neutral territory, discuss the Debaltsevo railway junction and delivery … by the way.

S: Hello, Vit. And what is the topic there?

M: And the topic is Debaltseve and cash deliveries there.

S: Ah, this is him on the same topic, I get it.

M: This man is the first deputy chairman of the SBU. This is the one who works with me, including prisoners.

S: I read, he was appointed including the prisoners. Okay, now let’s try to do something, yes.

M: Well, in short, tell me … He can’t explain to him over the phone … Just say – a normal person too …

S: Dear person, right?

M: We don’t give sixes, yes! Yes, dear people.

Conversation 3.

M: But if you give it in the context of two laws, then I threw out this council of cities. Because supposedly there is that law … Well, I gave it to our president, who seemed to look and say: “Propose.” I say, “This will not work.” – “And you suggest.” Well, I suggested. It didn’t fit. That’s it, tomorrow appears … He’s not there, he is away, he is not there? He left, and only will be tomorrow.

S: Ugu.

M: I have such a proposal. Here’s what I sent you back then. Where has this council of cities been.

S: Yes!

M: Yes, yes, I have it.

S: You have it. This is what can be done. Well, further …

M: Of course there is.

S: But …

M: Everyone, me, listen. So come on, think well … Maybe you need to add something else? Well this trade has begun? Listen, before that I didn’t say that someone saw something or that someone was doing something. This is my opinion.

S: Yes, it does. But to retreat below, Vit, well, it’s impossible.

M: Wait, wait. Okay, I’ll discuss.

S: For me, this political dimension is very important, there is a council of cities, some kind of platform …

M: No, we will write it. Glory, you must admit that, apart from the council of cities, everything else has generally remained the same.

S: Yes, that’s true.

M: Yes, so why do you accuse me then?

S: This is important to me. We won’t work, do you understand?

M: Listen, you understand why I removed the council of cities, right? Because it corresponded with this … And if we drop it, then we have to look for the form. And this form will be the council of cities.

S: That’s it, then I understood you. Okay, then I’ll wait for some signal from you. Yes? Do I understand correctly? Offer my version.

M: Yes, that’s right. 100%, I think there …

S: And in the 10th article to enter, well, hang conditionally. Insist on further consultations before the act of elections in LSG and the procedures for their conduct. Well, it would be fine. Why cancel it? Will be canceled. Well, our political foundation will be removed from the treaty.

M: Well, as long as nobody cancels it, listen. He told me before leaving that he was not canceling anything. He says: “I said before December 1st.” I say: “December 1 has already passed.” I say, “Why now?” He told me: “No, now no one will do anything.”

S: Well, you convey such a wish.

M: Of course I will.

S: Don’t tell yourself that “the Muscovites are there again.”

M: So what if from yourself? So I can’t express my point of view, or what? That’s what I say all the time.

S: Yes, yes.

The “Observer” does not specify when these conversations were recorded, but Vasily Gritsak served as the first deputy chairman of the SBU from July 7, 2014 to June 23, 2015. From July 2, 2015 to May 22, 2019, he headed the department.

The SBU said that study these records.
