NYPD attempts to track down potential victims of sexual abuse at a Bronx daycare after a suspected pedophile gained access to the facility.
Persido Boyer, 67, is charged with criminal sexual acts, sexual abuse, forceful touching and acting in a manner harmful to a child.
Boyer is suspected of abusing at least two children at the Growing Up Day Care, set up in an apartment on Monroe Avenue near East 173rd Street in Claremont. The children were under 11 years old.
Police believe Boyer had relatives who worked at the center and allowed him to spend time there.
At least one child accused Boyer of abusing him sometime between January 2018 and April 2021, authorities said.
Police are looking for other children who may also have been sexually abused at the Growing Up center.
