/ world today news/ Recently, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwarul Haq Kakar gave an exclusive interview to the China Media Group. In it, he highly praised China’s development achievements and the country’s model for realizing modernization with Chinese characteristics. He said that during the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation held recently in Beijing, President Xi Jinping presented the concrete measures for the development of the initiative in the future, calling on all countries to work together with China. “Pakistan is vigorously promoting the transformation of the social and governance structure, as well as urban planning, with which we seek to achieve modernization and development,” added the Pakistani prime minister.

Kakar also commented on the 10th anniversary of the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. “The first stage of this project has been completed. We have successfully built an international port, airport and highways, as well as energy projects. We continuously improve the lives of citizens and create pragmatic benefits for local residents. I look forward to the future projects and the diverse development of the industrial transformation of our country,” the Pakistani Prime Minister also commented. He also expressed his hopes that the second phase of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor cooperation will bring significant benefits to the lives of citizens, employment and infrastructure of Pakistan.

Kakar also pointed out that through the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, the countries are successfully promoting cultural exchange and mutual learning between countries. “The initiative’s biggest difference is that it changes the world with economic measures, not violence.”
