Study: Weight Gain Due to Covid-19 Situation, Risk of Type 2 Diabetes Also Increases

“This study shows that during the pandemic, there may be weight gain in people who are at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes. This is worrying because it could cause the rate of the condition to rise even more sharply downwards,” said Dan Howarth, Head of Care at Diabetes UK.
