Further studies on the sustainability of insurers
For the fourth time, the Servicevalue GmbH on behalf of the magazine “Focus Money“Examines how sustainable and responsible the German financial service providers are from the point of view of their customers (VersicherungsJournal 22.10.2020).
The Zielke Research Consult GmbH In its study “Spotlight CSR Insurance 2019 – European Insurers” took a close look at 46 reports from European insurers – including 22 German ones. It was analyzed how transparently corporate ESG actions are disclosed (23.10.2020).
The background to this is that, from March 2021, intermediaries will also have to ask and advise their customers about the sustainability criteria when investing.
A survey by “Insure our Future” has shown that 23 of the 30 largest insurers in the world have either ended or restricted their coal business in recent years (Medienspiegel 2.12.2020).
